Fly Fishing Experience on the River Avon for 2 People
This cannot buy experience as this takes place on an exclusive private beat on the Avon and includes:
Fly Fishing for 2 people on the world-famous Services Dry Fly Fishing Association (SDFFA) water in Wiltshire England.
This lot is for two people to fish the stretch of the River Avon in Wiltshire where the famous Pheasant Tail Nymph and Sawyer Killer Bug flies were invented by Frank Sawyer who was the Keeper for the SDFFA from 1928 until 1980. This water is not normally available for public use and is kept in a more “natural” state than most Chalk Streams and would benefit anglers with some experience.
The day will consist of a welcome from your guide Lt Col (Ret’d) Steve Perkins, a professional fly fishing Instructor, and then up to 8 hours of fishing on the river with a lunch break (lunch provided by the guide). At the end of the formal days guiding the anglers can, if they so wish, carry on fishing until dusk.
Tackle can be provided if required for the formal part of the day, but the anglers should bring their own waterproofs, glasses (Polaroid preferred) and anything else to make their day comfortable.
